The Flow Control Group manufacture a range of High performance knife gate valves
Knife Gate Valves are used for handling and controlling fluids with suspended solids, dirty liquids through to heavy slurries and sludge’s, often abrasive and corrosive.
Full bore, rubber seated, fully lugged, high pressure bi-directional Knife Gate Valve, suitable for end of line duty at fully rated pressure.
For use on sewage, slurries and waste water with high dried solids content.
Design features include:
Step blade arrangement for dual sealing
Pocketless orifices to prevent clogging
Maintainable gland arrangement and replaceable body seat
Ni-Hard insert available full or reduced bore
Valve Body
Available in a range of materials including SG iron, bronze, aluminium, carbon and stainless steel, duplex and Hastelloy.
Blade
Available as stainless steel, duplex and Hastelloy options.
Spindle
‘Rising spindle’ design manufactured from stainless steel as standard.
Gland Packing
Braided PTFE or other grade to suit application.

BS EN1092 NP10, NP16, NP25, NP40, ANSI 150-300, BST ‘D’ or ‘E’.
Insert
Full bore machined and mechanically fixed Ni-Hard inserts available as an option.
Operation
Pneumatic, electric or manual.
Optional Extras
These include extension spindles, non-rising spindles, locking facilities, Ni-Hard port inserts, electrical and mechanical position indication and solenoid valves.
Designs for higher pressure and other specialist applications are available upon request.
