Knife Gate Valves
The Flow Control Group manufacture and supply a range of standard uni & bi-directional wafer and lugged style knife gate valves to provide a tight shut-off. We also supply a range of high pressure and specialist Knife Gate Valves and design valves for bespoke operations.
Knife Gate Valves are used for handling and controlling fluids with suspended solids, dirty liquids through to heavy slurries and sludge’s, often abrasive and corrosive.
A Knife Gate Valve is typically designed with a blade with a round bottom and chamfered knife-edge to cut the demanding product media. The gland packing can be replaced without removing the valve from the pipeline.
