Air valves are used to both release air from a pipeline and to admit air into a pipeline. Our range includes single, double orifice and combination / triple function air valves.

The function of a small orifice air valve is to allow air to bleed from the pipeline under operating pressure.

Large orifice air valve allow air to be expelled from a pipeline system during filling and to admit air into the system whenever sub-atmospheric pressure occurs

The triple function air valve incorporates a small and large orifice air valve within a single unit. The large orifice functions in two ways, admitting air into the pipeline whenever the system pressure is below atmospheric and expelling air again as the system is refilled or charged. The small orifice allows air to bleed from the pipeline under operating pressure to expel any accumulations of air at high points or charges in pipeline profile.
